OUR FACULTY
The staff of Leonardo Da Vinci Academy consists of qualified professionals who have been screened and selected for the purpose of ensuring high standards of professionalism, dedication and empathy.
OUR FOUNDERS
Leonardo Da Vinci Academy was founded in August 1983 by Sal Ritacca, B.Sc., B.Ed, and Dom Tassielli, B.A., B.Ed. The two outstanding educators and men of vision were the principle driving force behind the Academy. Especially during the formative years, their combined perseverance, broad experience, expertise, vision and passion resulted in the founding of a most exceptional school. OUR BOARD OF GOVERNORS
The Leonardo Da Vinci Academy is a non-profit Ontario Corporation and a Canadian registered charity. The Board of Governors serves not only to insure that the Academy operates in accordance with its chartered objectives but is responsible for financial planning, public relations, building and site, and long term planning. Members include educators, business professionals, parents and other committed volunteers from the community.
LEONARDO ACADEMY PARENTS ASSOCIATION
LAPA is an auxiliary body made up of parents of the Academy. LAPA works with the school administration to help facilitate school events, fundraising, and provide volunteers for school functions.
